Carrying out finishing works YIT DOM follows laconic and austere Scandinavian style which is prevailing in the Northern Europe. Elegant and laconic forms, perfection of artistic solution, use of natural materials, functionality and comfort — these are the basic constituents of the Scandinavian style, which becomes more and more popular.
Specific features of Scandinavian design:
- Laconic forms, lightness, ability to concentrate and to organize various functions in a small space, traditional preference of natural materials, soft and pastel colors like colors of shore sand, rocks and cold blue-grey Northern sea.

- Pure and simple designer's solution, variability of colors, functional elegancy of components independent from fashion enable to use the components series during long period of time, complementing it if necessary.
The general color scheme of interiors is light as if it were painted in water colors. Warm colors are prevailing: yellow, milky white, light terracotta. In Northern countries as well as in Saint-Petersburg there is not enough of natural sun light, warmth and natural bright colors. That is why one wants to impregnate home with warm and joyful colors and make you feel a bright sunny day.
YIT DOM uses only high quality finishing materials. Natural wood and practical tiles have a leading role.
The apartment entrance doors are made of metal, manufactured by WEST-WOOD
KANDINSKY, Finland. Internal door are paneled white door, manufactured by WEST
WOOD, Finland. The floor is a laminate parquet WELLNESS FLOOR. It is possible to
assemble panel parquet PARLA.
The hall and bedrooms are equipped with NOVART
ESTRADE cabinets produced in Finland.
Kitchen:
The walls are painted, the ceiling is also whitewashed. The floor is a laminated parquet WELLNESS FLOOR. It is possible to install panel parquet PARLA. In-built furniture and cabinets (Novart PETRA, Finland) are installed in accordance to the apartment lay out. The cabinet doors are manufactured of MDF, working surfaces are laminated, the edges have cam face. The sink is made of stainless steel, the kitchen tap is ORAS VEGA equipped with a valve for washing machine. The kitchen is equipped with domestic appliances manufactured by ELECTROLUX: kitchen range with ceramic surface, cooking hood, refrigerator and dish-washing machine.
Bathroom and WC:
The walls and the floor covered with DESVRES tiles (France). In accordance to the bathroom and WC lay out the following equipment should be installed: mirror cabinets (Finnish or French), sink and sink cabinet IDO (Finland), bathtub IDO TREVI, shower tap ORAS APOLLO, WC pan IDO ARIA, water heater Electrolux, towel dryer. In some WC:s the following equipment should be installed: WC pan IDO ARIA, sink IDO ANIARA, water tap ORAS VEGA, shelf with a mirror FINNMIRROR INDUS.
