YIT – the winner of the independent contest «Consumer confidence – 2009»
The results of the contest in the field of residential real estate «Consumer confidence - 2009» were summarized. By the results of two rounds of the contest the independent experts and the consumers have chosen the most attractive company complying with the strict criteria - ZAO YIT Lentek. Last year YIT Lentek celebrated its 20th anniversary; the company is the St.Petersburg daughter company of the first-rate Finnish Corporation YIT, which has been involved in construction business in Europe nearly 100 years.
The contest in the field of residential real estate «Consumer confidence» was held for the second time. The purpose of the contest is to choose among the builders, realtors and banks the most bona fide in respect to consumers. The contest included two rounds. Within the framework of the first round during a month consumers were polled in Internet on the website www.Stroyproblema.ru. During that time almost two thousand and a half users of the Network named the companies, to which they could commit the delivery of services in the housing market. By the rules of the contest only twenty companies in every nomination, which got the most number of votes, went into the second round. Packages of documents of every company were independently appraised by the experts. The experts compared the companies by consumer criteria:
- experience of work of the company in the market;
- observance of the legislation in respect of consumers;
- observance of the terms under agreements;
- availability and nature of claims related to the quality of the services (statistics of Consumer Right Protection Society, relevant committees and independent associations);
- compliance with advertising promises;
- availability and activity of the service handling the consumers' problems.
By the results of the independent expert appraisal in the procedure of the secret vote the jury chose five companies in every nomination, which as much as possible complied with the legislation and acted duly in respect of consumers. And the winners of the contest were determined based on the interactive voting of numerous visitors of the Civil Housing Forum and the Real Estate Fair.
In the last day of the work of the Real Estate Fair, on October 11, by the results of the voting the main winner of the contest among the builders was determined - and it was the company YIT. «The victory in the independent contest confirms that the people trust us and see the true value of quality of our work. The very fact of trust of several thousands of people, for whom we work and for whom we try to create the most favorable and comfortable living environment - is the highest award to us.
